Tatars were the masters of the steppe, trained in horse riding and wielding weapons since childhood. Their favourite tactics included feigned flight, fast outflanking manoeuvres and ambushes. If possible  they avoided hand to hand combat, as their weapon of choice was the bow. However, if forced into a melee they could use their sabres and spears with great skill. Tatars rarely used armour.

Set include 9 cavalry models and  3x plastic stands of 3cm x 4 cm.
