Cossack Rabble means masses of Ukrainian peasants, the poor, herdsmen and all kinds of outlaws. Cossack Rabble took part en masse in almost every rebellion. Their equipment was improvised and typical for peasant formations. Armament mostly included clubs, axes, spears, forks, scythes and other primitive weapons. The Rabble was completely untrained and keeping discipline among the masses of drunk and bloodthirsty peasants was a serious problem.
