Major Hargreaves watched through his Challenger II's sights as enemy armour pushed beyond the ruined village and into the open valley below. Recon vehicles led the way, followed by a line of heavy tanks advancing confidently toward the ridge. Hidden in hull-down positions, the British troop waited silently, every gun already ranged in.

"Steady..." Hargreaves muttered as the enemy closed to 1800 metres.

Then he gave the order. "Troop, FIRE!"

The ridge erupted with the thunder of 120mm guns. Enemy tanks vanished in fireballs as Challenger IIs struck with deadly accuracy, turning the advance into burning wrecks within seconds.
