TFR120: VBL Patrol

The VBL (Véhicule Blindé Léger, light armoured vehicle) is a light reconnaissance vehicle that patrol forward of the AMX-10 RCs, discovering the enemy positions and direction of advance.

The Patrouille d’Éclairage has two VBL light armoured vehicles. The VBL is armed with a 7.62mm machine-gun. It also carries APILAS anti-tank weapons, but these have been replaced in some vehicles by the Eryx short-range anti-tank guided missile.
