Hello gamers! Editing Tabletop Gaming magazine is a bit like being a time traveller. You’re constantly looking forward to the next awesome top-tier event, before looking back at the best of gaming. We have two event previews (Lucca Comics & Games in Italy on p14; Dragonmeet in London on p16), before reliving the recent Fighting Fantasy Fest (p39).

And while we’re always testing out the next big thing – with a massive 36 reviews in this issue! – with 11 years under our belt, we also wander back through our magazine’s past in From the Vaults (p12), before taking a deep dive into modern classic Scout (p26) and getting schooled on the 1915 game Poleana (p82), which is a big hit in Mexican prisons.

If only our home office had the qualities of Doctor Who’s Tardis to deal with the number of boxes being delivered at this time of year!

Happy gaming!
