- The Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. E (or Panzer III E) was an excellent design, combining good manoeuverability, firepower and armour
- The M14/41 was a modified version of the M13/40 and featured a more powerful engine, as well as new air and fuel filters that were better adapted to the harsh climactic conditions of North Africa
- The Light Mk. VIC was produced by Vickers-Armstrong in the late 1930's and saw service during the Battle of France as well as during the North African campaign
