Entoyment's Horus Heresy Escalation Campaign Ticket

Join us for an awesome journey into Horus Heresy 3rd Edition.

Welcome to the Entoyment Wargaming and Hobby Centre’s Horus Heresy 3rd Escalation Campaign. This campaign will last for 6 rounds, with players starting with small warbands of 750pts points, and ending with an impressive 2,500 points. 

Below are the restrictions and rules that will govern how this campaign progresses.
The campaign will be run in the Entoyment Discord and there is a channel dedicated to it in the channel section at the top of the server. 

Model Restrictions:

-Models must be WYSIWYG
-Our campaign is hobby and painting focused so each month there is a strict painting requirement. We want every event to be host to awesome hobby and painting. 
-Unique models may not be taken until the campaign reaches 1500 points
-Paragon or Lord Of War units may not be taken

Player Starting Armies:

-The units and models a player selects for the first round of the campaign are referred to as their Starting Army. A player's Starting Army must be no more than 750 points. You may bank any left over points.
-A Starting Army may not include any High Command units.
-One Command unit must be nominated as your Army Leader. This model does count for scoring the Slay the Warlord (X) secondary objective.
-The models and units selected for a Starting Army must be included in all subsequent rounds of the campaign, with 2 exceptions explained below.

Campaign Progression:

-Each campaign round will last approximately 1 month, aligning with calendar months, with the first round hobby and practice round occurring over August 2025.
-Round one is a practice round to get used to the game and try out different starting forces if you wish. Your Starting Army must be painted by Sept 1st and your next 350pts declared 
-The points limit for the player’s armies increases by 350 points in each campaign round (750 for round 1, 1100 for round 2 etc), with the final round being 2500 points. You may “bank” unspent points for following rounds. 

There are 2 ways an army can change during the campaign:

-After the first round, a player can exchange their Army Leader for a High Command unit, who becomes their Army Leader.
-The units can have models added to them (as per their profile entry).
-We all choose a unit now again that just doesn’t perform the way we hoped or just isn’t the right fit for your army. You start the campaign with 2 substitution points you can use to swap a unit for a different unit (the subbed-in unit must be painted). You may not spend substitution points on your starting army.    
-Each round you must add a piece of painted terrain to your force. There is no restriction from us on what they are but a mix of area and line of sight blocking is a good idea.

The Campaign Games:

-In each campaign round, players must play at least 1 game against other campaign players.
-Games do not have to be played against a player of the other faction.
-Games must be played at Entoyment.
-There is no upper limit on the number of games that can be played in a round but your first game of each round is the only recorded result. 
-If your opponent hasn’t played a game this round but you have, or vice versa, the only result that is recorded is the player who hasn’t played. 

If a player’s Army Leader is not removed as a casualty for an entire campaign round, for the duration of the next campaign round that model may re-roll a single die once in each Battle Turn.

Bi Monthly Events: 
-Every other round there will be a narrative event held at Entoyment. The tickets for these events will be low priced, just to cover the table hire. 
-You can score additional campaign points playing these events, these are the only way to gain additional campaign points outside your 1 reported game each round.
