Event Type: The event is intended to be a beginner friendly tournament; this doesn’t preclude trying to win though! Just have fun.

Army Lists
Lists must be submitted via Longshanks by 04/07/2026
Each Player will write a 1500-point list at the Battle game size. This must be a legal list following the restrictions laid out in your chosen factions ORBAT. All rules will be using any current documents, however if there are any rules updates or balance passes after 27/06/2026, these will not be used as it will be too late to accommodate these changes for list submission deadline.

Painting Requirements
There will not be any strict painting requirements for this tournament due to it being targeted at beginners, however every base used must have at least one miniature on it that is painted with a minimum of 3 colours, and any standalone units such as vehicles that don’t have a base must be at least primed. Basically, no bare grey plastic.
If you want to paint your army fully, and I advise that you do, there will be a prize for best painted army.

Game Format & Missions
The three rounds will be using the following missions taken from the core rulebook:
Round 1 – Supply Drop
Round 2 – Pitched Battle
Round 3 – Flanking Manoeuvres

Terrain Guidelines
Each table will include a balanced mix of the following terrain provided by the venue and TO: 
Garrisons
Difficult Terrain
Dense Terrain
Obstacles

Scoring System
Devastating Victory 3
Victory 2
Draw 1
Defeat 0

In the result of a tie in points at the end of the tournament, the winner will be the person with the most overall VP scored throughout the day.

Sportsmanship & Conduct
This is a friendly event. All players are expected to:
Treat opponents and organisers with respect
Play at a reasonable pace
Resolve rules disputes politely

Rules Queries
If players cannot agree call the TO over who will make a ruling, TO decisions are final and made under pressure to have games finish on time.

This event is about having fun, rolling dice, and meeting fellow hobbyists. Whether you are a hardened tournament veteran or a newer player to the Dystopian Age, you are very welcome.
