Lure of the Liche: A Mordheim campaign in the Land of the Dead

Bournemouth Mordheimers present a narrative campaign “doubles” event for Oldhammer weekend hosted at Entoyment. Pairings will be determined narratively. Players will be repaired across 5 rounds. Tables will be outlandishly dressed with decadent terrain customised to play linked scenarios with unexpected features.

Players are required to bring a fully painted warband, completed roster sheet, pencil, dice and tape measure. Players are encouraged to submit additional terrain pieces to be exhibited in the campaign.

A campaign pack will be provided for the event. There will be prizes including for most spectacular painted work done in the hobby.

Legends in decadent kingdoms across the Great Ocean tell of a crumbling empire, now little more than sun-bleached wasteland beyond the Great Desert.

Stories of untold wealth hoarded by ancient monarchs of Nehekharan civilisation have reached the ears of fortune seekers from the Old World.

Tales of buried riches told in taverns describe this Land of the Dead as a place of entombed plunder, destroyed by time, then ravaged by the elements.

Fascination over such valuable antiquities is attracting archaelogical interest among notable relic collectors, treasure hunters and grave robbers. Shadowy heritage of its birthright means the environment is visited by eminent loremasters, prospective monster slayers, beast fighters and witch hunters.

Whether by temptation of prosperity, seduction of immortality (by forbidden knowledge!) or crusading to extinguish foul abominations… all warbands who answer the call to arms, feel the lure of the Liche.
